Business Development Executive – Full time

As part of our continued growth, YouStudy is currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive based in Cairo, Egypt.

Position purpose:

This role is primarily focused on supporting the business to grow and increase student enrolments through developing and maintaining stakeholder relationships, researching and identifying new business opportunities, and creating partnership opportunities with educational providers and channel partners.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new key clients in the high school and university sector in addition to new channel partners to increase lead generation and referrals
  • Develop partnerships by conducting visits and meetings with targeted educational institutions / channel partners to market YouStudy services to them (while carrying out the necessary periodic follow-ups and contact with them)
  • Manage stakeholder and client relationships in a highly professional manner, representing YouStudy as an innovative market leader
  • Engage in events, meetings, calls and other relevant activities to develop relationships with educational institutions aimed at creating new leads
  • Deliver presentations to high school and university students
  • Plan and deliver recruitment activity in line with market needs 
  • Generate new student applications by facilitating an agreed number of applicants whilst maintaining a high-quality student experience
  • Follow up and manage leads in an effective and professional manner.
  • Monitor and manage applications through to conversion and enrolment
  • Support the development, implementation and review of contracts / MOU’s with channel partners
  • Prepare weekly and periodic reports on business development and marketing activity conducted
  • Provide input and contribute to defining the ongoing market strategy for Egypt
  • Work closely with the marketing team (including digital marketing) to provide market intelligence and develop marketing plans and strategies
  • Attending online meetings with management and the wider team (marketing, admissions, contracts and partnership) sharing best practice

 Skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing / Business or relevant subject. Relevant equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Ability to work autonomously, under pressure and organise work priorities to meet deadlines
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills
  • Strong command of both Arabic and English languages (speaking and writing).
  • Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to engage in open dialogue
  • Ability to remain focused when multitasking and work independently
  • Confident in speaking to and engaging with new people
  • Strong Word, Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills
  • High speed and reliable internet connection (with a modern laptop + mobile device
  • Remote working - suitable and quiet working environment (comfortable and devoid of any causes of disturbance)
  • Reliable means of transportation needed for visiting schools and partners
