This course is the School of Sport, Health and Exercise Sciences' classic degree allowing you to study the three areas of sports science, health and physical education. It is good preparation for careers in teaching physical education (after following a Postgraduate Certificate in Education), the fitness industry, or for a career in research in a variety of sport and health-related areas.
All students study 120 credits in each year of their degree. In addition to modules in the subject specific areas of Physiology, Psychology, Biomechanics, and Motor Control and Learning relating to each degree, there are two components common to all programmes: Portfolio Academic Skills and Research Skills, Project and Dissertation.
