Studying A Level Computing will allow you to develop an understanding of how computers are used to solve a wide range of problems. You’ll investigate a variety of different computers, and also look at the ways that computers are organised in terms of software, data, hardware, communications and people.

Where will this subject take me?
This course has been designed if you wish to go on to higher education courses or employment where knowledge of computing would be beneficial. Students can study computing and go on to a career in medicine, law, business, politics or any type of science. Bellerbys students that have taken A Level Computing have gone on to study at a variety of respected UK universities. In 2016 these included: Computer Science at Queen Mary, University of London and Computer Science at City, University of London.
